Objective: Respond to a simulated cramp for either you or your buddy.
Value: A cramp can occur easily when scuba diving. Knowing how to respond will let you continue your dive in comfort.
How It’s Done:
- If you get a cramp in your leg:
- Stop, relax, and pull the tip of the fin toward you to stretch out the leg muscles.
- Continue to swim slowly so that the muscle can recover.
- If your buddy has cramp, place their heel on your shoulder, lock their knee down, and massage the affected area.
